A Communal Novel: A Credible Threat

I am Winston Smith. You might think I'm paranoid, and I very well might be. But just because I'm paranoid does not mean people are not after me.

I posted a short story on Common Ground Common Sense; the working title is A Credible Threat. It was nothing more than a short story- a little spoof at the current administration.

But now things have started to happen. Strange little things. People with W'04 stickers still on their car glaring at me when I flip them off on the freeway. Republicans on my e-mailing list telling me to 'go to hell' and blocking me out when I send them things- things that always contradict the lies the RNC sends me. Friends looking at me strangely when I start reading the latest book by Al Franken. Wierd things like that.

So I have decided to protect myself by making my short story public. It will be an ongoing project- a sort of communal novel. What I hope to see is that everyone is as paranoid about this administration as I am.

When you find things on the internet that make you think someone is up to no good, post it here, along with the link. If it's credible, then you'll see it in the story. From time to time I'll repost the story with the changes I've made- and links to the evidence you'll have given me.

If a great deal of time passes and you don't see the story change, then move to Canada because I'll be at Gitmo with wires attached to my testicles.
